The exagerated part came from the execution, everything was revealed in two chapters when the comic before had a normal pace, not too slow and not too fast althought maybe it had too much flashbacks for characters we didn't care about.
#MY SECRET IDENTITY SEASON 3 SERIAL#
I think it wasn't exagerated that she has DID because that happens with trauma and we know about her abusive father althought we still don't know too much about him wouldn't surprise me if he ended up being a serial killer and the real memory she had of killing Elios, she killed her serial killer father in self defense This webtoon tho is clearly aiming for a tragic ending, so we'll see if that saves it. Check Ultra Despair Girls to see what I mean. In MDS, everything from Emma's trauma to the people around her is played very realistically, so it makes the "exaggerated" twist harder to accept and more out of place.Īnyway, Toko eventually learns to control her alter and find a way to live at peace with herself, which is what people often strive for when they have that disorder. But people weren't that angry about it because it's a game about a literal demonic monochromatic bear trying to kill people. I would prefer if this leads to Emma coming to terms with her DID and working towards improving herself.įor example, in Danganronpa, Fukawa Toko has a split personality with a literal serial killer. Tho it's not enough to ruin the story, I guess. And this disclaimer wouldn't even be here if no one pointed it out.īut "hrr drr this is a thriller so don't be a baby" I guess.Īnd besides, this trope has been played to death, so it isn't even super original? Works of fiction that exaggerate "for the purpose of entertainment" is exactly what perpetuates stereotypes and inevitably greater prejudice towards the anyone who has the mental disorder. Refer to real cases or studies."Īnd idk man, it's disappointing. So don't take a work of fiction as reference for studies or real life events. The post says, "What readers need to keep in mind while reading fiction is some things might be exaggerated for the purpose of entertainment. if you check Hanza's instagram, they basically confirm the theory's true. I still think it could be that she would do anything to defend Elios that she made it seem it was her There's still on chapter left so anything could happen, honestly. Honestly things happen too fast and quickly we have a reval when Yohan unmasks the person and it's indeed Emma. Honestly I think it just mirrors Yohan on the first chapters he's in he just suspected Emma because he didn't know the context, but probably the most incriminating and worrying bathing hing is that, after Emma fell on him, he realized the masked person is around the same weight and height
#MY SECRET IDENTITY SEASON 3 FULL#
Yohan starts investigating to know who could be the killer (because he doesn't know about Elios), things start to point to Emma as she fights similar to the masked person and has an Instagram post with a similar sweater I think those things really point anything because Yohan doesn't know the full picture (aka that Elios is Emma's boyfriend and that's he's that protective over her I think Emma borrowing the sweater or being taught defense moves from Elios could explain that I think it's obvious that Yohan was right that there was a killer there that could attack other people, Yohan gets attacked, Elios is again masked as before Idon't think that's too suspicious because Elios revealed himself to Emma in secret but went away to avoid capture (also just breaking in to a private trip can get you in trouble).

I reccomend you to read it because a lot happened but I'll summarize: Now she must think she's using Yohan for something while she still has a boyfriend. Sophie was one of the girls who got mad because they couldn't get a date themselves but then some girl could even have the opportunity to use boys.

So what happened was that from almost everyone else's perspective she didn't get abused by this guy but she used him to get her essay done and at the last minute she told him they couldn't be together because she already had a boyfriend. The author had her in the park with Elios to make us think that maybe she has a past with them and maybe she's jealous he chose Emma, but we haven't seen anything.īut I think Sophie even has a reason to mess up with Emma's essay before they even formally met, I think she was jealous Emma got to study with that senior because honestly only Emma's so innocent to don't realize that thing in the cafe was supposed to be a date. I also think that Mika (the stone faced girl) doesn't really have a reason to mess up with Emma, she's just like a red herring.
